The 2020 Nissan Rogue gives the QX50 a good fight, but ultimately, there is no better crossover for families or solo drivers than the 2020 INFINITI QX50.
Under the Hood
The 2020 QX50 crossover takes its motivation from a potent 2.0-liter Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) inline four-cylinder engine mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission. This engine cranks out 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The 2020 Rogue comes nowhere near the power of the QX50; its 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, partnered with a the Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission®, manages just 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque.
As a luxury model, the new INFINITI QX50 comes with an abundance of features for entertainment, comfort, and convenience standard even at the base level that the Nissan Rogue does not offer. On the base model of the QX50, here are just some of the features that come standard that you can’t get on the base model of the Rogue: HD Radio, leather seats, power liftgate, climate control, and keyless start.
Both the 2020 INFINITI QX50 and the 2020 Nissan Rogue offer industry-leading safety technologies. There may not be a clear winner here, but it’s important that shoppers know what safety features the QX50 does offer. At the core of the driver assist technologies in the INFINITI QX50 is ProPILOT Assist, which does the driving for you in proper conditions. Other technologies include Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keep Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, and Distance Control Assist.
